Chiropractic Care

Dr. Kaila Alvarez uses diversified chiropractic technique with manual adjustments for both spinal and extremity complaints. She will use drop and instrument assistance when necessary. She has experience treating all kinds of different people, ages, professions and conditions. She has treated infants to elderly as well as youth athletes to professional athletes.

Her additional Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) certification and knowledge from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians allows her to best serve performance injuries. She takes a performance approach to all the conditions she treats.

 

On-site Workplace Chiropractic Care

On-site chiropractic care is becoming much more popular as a benefit employers are offering their employees. It has been shown to increase employee satisfaction, decrease risk & healthcare costs.


We only have a few spots open in order to provide the most effective care for each organization.

 

Sports Performance Program

Inquire for a sports performance assessment and custom created plan. The Performance Program is 8 weeks in duration. Participants will go through a movement assessment where their custom plan will be derived from. At a follow up appointment, the findings and plan will be discussed and begin to be implemented. In addition to the custom created plan, the participant will receive chiropractic care as needed. This is a cash-based program.

What is Soft Tissue Care?

Soft tissue care is care directed to the muscles, fascial systems, etc.

Dr. Kaila is trained in Dry Needling, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and cupping techniques to perform numerous soft tissue care options. Soft tissue care includes but is not limited certain muscular performance care.

 

What is Taping?

Taping is a stretchy type tape used when range of motion and healing are both needed also while trying to help correct or change any biomechanics insufficiencies that may be occurring. There is also a more traditional type of tape called strapping or athletic tape that is used to limit range of motion as well as provide support to the area.

With numerous different kinesiology and biomechanical taping options, Dr. Kaila is proficient in different techniques to assist in your care with tape when necessary.

 

Dry Needling

Dr. Kaila uses dry needling as a method to treating tender trigger point areas. Dry needling uses a small thin needle inserted into the trigger point of the muscle.

 

Rehab

As a sports chiropractor, Dr. Kaila is proficient in working with you to find a realistic routine for continued at home care for numerous conditions. Although Dr. Kaila loves to help, she does recommend consulting with Physical Therapy first, when available.
